Hospital management system project - Front end : visual basic 6.0 & Back end : ms access

ABSTRACT

The project titled as “Hospital management system” is developed in vb as front end and ms access as backend to manage the hospital processing system. The main modules in this project are login, doctor details, medicine details, ward details, patient admission, medicine purchase, outpatient details and employee details. The administrator should login to the project through login form using the username and password. The username and password are verified and if it is correct, the main form opens. If the username and password are not correct, it shows the error message. The medicine name, price and stock of the medicine are entered and managed in medicine module. The available wards in the hospital are managed in ward module. The ward name, ward price per day, ward facilities are entered and managed in this module. Doctor details are added and managed in the doctor’s module. The doctor details are added or modified by the administrator. New patient details are entered with their name, address, ward allocated, date of admission are entered through this module. The patient is charged according to the ward price. The medicines purchased for a individual patient are added to their list. It is calculated during the patient discharge. When a patient is discharge from the hospital, the bill for ward, medicine purchase bill are added to the billing of the patient. The employee details are entered and managed in the employee module. New employee can be added, existing employee can be removed or modified in this module.
